Hooray for Pajama Day! We had a few furry friends join us in class today. :)

The classes are wrapping up their captions and analysis.  We'll be merging the presentations to create one class product soon,

Aunt Polly has joined us today, as well.  She's ready to give Tom a lesson or two about his manners during our photo shoots.

I sneaked a few photos of the students setting up their tableau photos and putting the final touches on their costumes.  We feel that we've  officially moved Hannibal, MO to AMS today.

The photos were taken today and now we're moving them over into Google Presentations where students will add captions such as this and discuss the conflict in the scene.  So proud of the students today.

Today the students are ready to roll with their Tom Sawyer conflict tableau photos. Looks like one particular Tom really looks the part today. Yay!

Students are planning out their photos for Wednesday. Here you see on group deciding how conflict displayed in a chapter and another student using the webcam as a mirror to decide what facial expressions work best to visually represent the conflict.

After our nature writing on Thursday, it was time for the students to share their experiences with one another. Interviews were conducted to discover if the author could add more descriptive details to help paint a more vivid picture for the reader. Happily, each of improved our writings through the interview process.

With many of the students gone today on field trips and tennis meets, our class was much smaller, but we still love our Language Arts class.

The whole gang after we wrapped up our descriptive nature writings. Am I the luckiest teacher or what?!
